一直不太明白国内开发输入法的厂商葫芦里卖的什么药，宁可放弃广大Mac电脑用户而去争夺还需要破解越狱的iOS输入法市场。

10:39AM The game is very Prince of Persia — it’s a bit more of a straight up sidescroller than the previous one it looks like.

10:36AM He’s discussing the high prices and bad experience of buying standard console games… and that leads into some props on the App Store. Rightfully so, it is revolutionary for this kind of content. “There are 21,178 entertainment titles in the App Store.”

10:34AM “And people are starting to see what a great gaming device this is. When you think about the companies that came before us… when you played those other systems, they seemed so cool, but now when you look at them, they don’t stack up against the iPod touch.”

10:34AM “All this power in this little computer. And it really fits in your pocket.” Oh! Ha — a pic of someone trying to cram a netbook in their pocket! Burn Phil, burn.

10:32AM “Customers have figured something else out, it’s a great pocket computer. If you can get on WiFi, you can get on the internet and have a desktop-like experience.”

10:31AM He’s really selling us on how great this thing is. It sounds great, really.

10:31AM “You might ask: why so many, why so quickly? First it’s a great iPod. Great for music and videos. It’s great for discovering new music, like this new Green Day album.”

10:30AM ‘The fastest growing product in the line is the iPod touch. Now I’m proud to tell you that we’ve sold 20m touches. Couple that with 30m iPhones — this technology is taking off so quickly.”

10:29AM “And in the rear… Microsoft has about 1.1%.” Oh you guys. Can’t help yourselves, right?

10:29AM “Good morning everyone. If you haven’t heard, the iPod has been a big hit. We’ve sold over 220m iPods to date, and growing. It’s incredible. Customers love it. If you look at the latest market data, the iPod is at 73.8%”

10:28AM “iTunes 9 is available today. That’s iTunes. Now, let’s move on to the iPod. Phil Schiller is going to come up and tell us about iPods.”

10:27AM “So those are just some of the new features of iTunes 9.” And Steve is back!

10:27AM “One last thing I want to show you — something we’re calling iTunes extras. Just like music, we have it for movies.” This is basically extra DVD content, but also some more interactive stuff. Does this thing have an SDK?

10:26AM Now he’s showing off a Dave Matthews record. Hand drawn art from DM himself — looks really nice. Every song has its own illustration. Apple has officially reinvented the 12-inch.

10:25AM Wow. Ray Manzarek talking about how they came up with the name The Doors. Ha. “You mean like the doors in your mind… right.”

10:24AM Some of this content looks a lot like what Microsoft is doing with Zune content… looks like Apple is making a play for the same action.

10:24AM “So that’s the iTunes 9 store. So Steve mentioned LP. Here are 5 albums I bought from the store… let me show you the Doors.” Full screen images here, big song pages with lyrics, photos of the band, liner notes. Nice, Break on Through and Light My Fire. Things are getting mystical in here.

10:22AM “You may notice these arrows next to ‘buy’, well you can gift music, you can add to a wish list — and I can send directly to Facebook or Twitter.”

10:22AM The new music section is now a long horizontal slide window. It dos quick view and previewing of albums and tracks without loading up separate pages.

10:21AM “Let’s look at the store now. It’s got a clean look.” The store looks much more spacious and open — it’s a welcome improvement.

10:20AM “The thing you can’t do with regular streaming, is to select the tracks and drag to your library.” Is Apple saying it’s okay to just pay once for an app even if it’s on two devices? This is blowing our minds.

10:19AM “Now I want to show you home sharing. I turn on my sharing — my wife’s is already on. Her list shows up in this list on the left, and everything is available to me. Even Apps.”

10:19AM You can rearrange whole pages by sliding them up and down on the right. Looks extremely useful.

10:18AM “On the left you can see all the Apps in the library. If I double click on it, it will take it right to your iPod.” You click delete as you do on the phone or iPod (little black Xs)

10:17AM “When I click on Apps, I can see everything that’s on my iPod. If I want to rearrange, I just click and drag. Drop it on another page, or I can select more than one at a time and drag those.”

10:17AM “Here’s iTunes 9. I’m going to begin by showing you one of my favorite features — App organization.”

10:16AM Big applause. “We think this is going to be outstanding. These are just a few of the features in 9… and Jeff Robbin is going to give us a demo.”

10:16AM “That shouldn’t be the case. That’s what we’re doing with LP. You bought a great album in the past… you can get it again. Here’s American Beauty by the Grateful Dead. A great record.” There’s all kinds of added content here, lyrics, photos, writing.

10:15AM “And finally, something I’m going to love… iTunes LP. LPs were great — you got music, photography, liner notes, essays… most of that left us when we went to CDs.”

10:14AM “Next up is a redesigned Store. Cleaner. New artist pages, new movie pages. It’s a much cleaner layout.”

10:14AM “Home sharing: we’re going to let you copy songs, TV shows, etc. with up to 5 computers in your house. You’re going to see all the computers you can share with, and you’ll see the contents — you’ll be able to drag that and copy it to your library.”

The Genius database has gotten smarter and smarter. They’ve enabled us to make Genius playlists. Well, we’re applying that same tech to something new called Genius Mixes.”

9:24AM So Apple is being really helpful to bloggers lately. At this event there’s WiFi that actually works (for now) and power strips in some of seat rows. They’ve done the latter previously, but it’s nice that they’re thinking of us hard workin’, hard bloggin’ livebloggers. Thanks guys. Now release a tablet or something.

9:18AM People are starting to circle the doors… there could be a media stampede at any moment.

9:09AM Ah ha — celebrity alert. Greg Grunberg of Heroes fame is here. We understand he’s going to use his powers to get a free bagel from the snack cart.

I have included a PPF patch that swaps out the AppleNforceATA.kext for an older version for those that get kernel panics. The MD5 for this swap should be:

You might wonder what’s new and why bother downloading. I will try to list the main changes with this update and a comprehensive list of what options are available.

First and most importantly is a totally rebuilt filesystem. The advantage with this is I no longer had to script a repair permissions from the DVD. This speeds install a good bit for most people. Don’t worry if the timer says some outrageous time, as it does not calculate it correctly. The initial package install is very large and takes the most time, but once its done the install is almost done. I still recommend running repair permissions from Leopard once your all loaded up to fix some errors, but none of these will stop the system from booting. If you run it twice you should see zero errors on Intel and 2 SUID files on AMD. There is an install script that crashes on AMD machines causing this, but to keep everything perfect on intel I chose to leave the script intact.
This DVD now supports AHCI with more than 2 drives thanks to the updated kext’s posted by Cyclonefr.
Also fixed this go around is X11 for both Intel and AMD. If, when you close it the first time, cpu usage jumps to 100% open terminal and type xeyes & to fix it. You will need to reboot after, but it should never glitch again.
Due to some complaints I removed my old logo and replaced it with my favorite desktop background, hope you like it.

There is no longer a ./RemoveVideo script, it has been updated and is now called
./options.
If you boot with -s at the Darwin prompt and mount your drive with
/sbin/fsck -fy
/sbin/mount -uw /
./options
you will see options to remove video drivers, account loop fix, and extensions repair. These are the most common issues so I have just automated them. If you do the account loop fix be sure to setup a proper account once booted into Leopard.

From inside the installer you will notice alot of new options, I will cover the main ones of interest:

ACPIPlatform:

You now have a choice between ACPIPlatforms, version 1.1.0 is the default install if nothing else is selected. This is needed for the laptop Power Management bundle to function,  but if you have an older system you can choose 1.0.3 from Tiger. Alternately you can choose the stock version 1.2.1. Included inside version 1.1.0 and 1.2.1 is ACPIPS2Nub(proper version) for your PS2 support. There should be no more PS2 issues! !

AppleSMBIOS:

I put in lots of choices for different versions based on bus speed if you want it to show your proper memory speed, or if you want your hack to look like a real mac. The default install if nothing is selected is Netkas improved version 27.
Options are:
DDR667
DDR800
DDR1066
DDR1333
iMac
MacBook
MacPro

Kernel:

I have added Netkas 9.2.0 sleep kernel, and 9.2.2 binpatched kernel ny Modbin(Be warned this does not work on all AMD machines! SSE3 CPU is required!). The default install is still Netkas 9.2.0 speedstep kernel. There are also the Stock kernels(vanilla) 9.2.0/9.2.2

RemoveFireWire:

For those that have issues with FireWire, or those that just want to speed their boot time a little. This moves all of the IOFireWire kext’s to /FireWire folder in the root of your install drive.

About This Mac:

This is my own little installer to customize “About this Mac” with your processor info. No it does not fix memory speed, you have to do that with AppleSMBIOS. It should work for all languages and should report overclocked CPU’s properly.

Power Management:

By popular demand I added the laptop power management bundle to the install. You will still need to set it up in system preferences. This is known to have a few minor bugs. It may not report the proper time remaining or any time remaining for that matter, so use at your own risk. If you select this please do not select an ACPIPlatform, as this requires version 1.1.0.

AMD System Fix:

You will notice it is checked and greyed out by default. To take out alot of user error (people forgetting to check it for their AMD systems) I have added a script to detect the CPU and patch accordingly. When its running it will echo your processor information in the install log (if you show all). It will then skip the patch process if your on Intel or patch if its an AMD. I hope it works well for everyone!

Bootloader:

This option is checked and greyed out by default. It is Dense’s script to install EFI and make the partition active. If you already have an existing bootloader (like from Vista) on the same logical drive it will not overwrite it. It will however flag the partition you installed to active, so you will have to manually set your Windows partition active again if needed.

Chipset Drivers:

(NOTE- JMicron is the only driver that always installs so please choose at least 1 option, some will have to choose 2 [if you have Marvell IDE and Intel SATA for example] ) If your not sure you can click all but 1 Nforce, as they will overwrite each other.

Nforce Old – This is the older version of Medevils Nforce(1.0.2) driver. Install this if you have issues with SATA enabled causing a panic. Known to work for some Nforce3 users.

Nforce Test- If you have a SATA DVD or do not have issues booting the DVD normally choose the NforceTest.

SiliconImage3132 – I have not found anyone that uses this specific chipset to confirm if it works.

VIA, SiS, Marvell and SB – Please install this if you are using any of these chipsets. If you have a Marvell IDE drive please install this as they should be supported. I have added many ID’s here so I hope they all work! This chioce installs AppleVIAATA, AppleOnboardPCATA and AppleGenericPCATA. Confirmed working for SiS!

SAS – By request I added support for this, as of my writing this its untested. Hopefully it works.

Intel ICHx- If you have ICH7/8/9 chipsets you should install this. This is the modified version by -Dune- to support more than 2 drives and fix the over 2Gigs of RAM panics.

Audio:

These choices have not changed much, only added support for STAC9271 by request. If your not sure what chipset you have, please choose AzaliaAudio(for most HD) or AC97Audio.

NVinject- By request I have added options for different version of Nvinject(0.1.3/0.2.0/0.2.1). If your not sure choose version 0.2.1 with the proper amount of RAM your video card. I have added a modified version of 0.2.1 for 1Gig of VRAM.
GMA950 – QE/CI+resolution change with some artifacts
GMA950 – No Aritfacts QE/CI but no resolution.
GMAX3100 – suppose to give QE/CI(confirmed for device ID 0x2a02)

Network Drivers:

ForceDeth- This is compatible with most Nforce LAN.
ForceDeth-V – This is compatible with most Nforce LAN(recommended version)
Skge – Driver for most Marvell LAN cards.
